| Abstract(in English) | We have designed and constructed a handy apparatus for counting of masticatory movement utilizing a EMG meter, a counter equipped with numeric display and a cassette recorder. The cassette recorder equippped with voice operated recording system. The new apparatus enable us to measure the total count of masticatory movement and masticatory muscle activity. A few results of the preliminary application of this apparatus to human beings are presented. |
