Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Parkinson's disease and essential tremor are representative neurosis diseases which have tremor. Parkinson's disease has three classical signs, namely tremor, rigidity and hypokinesia. The tremor is one of the most dominant symptom in the trias. It is difficult to discriminate Parkinson's disease from several diseases, which simulated Parkinsonian symptoms. Then, we developed a system for measurement and analyzing of tremor in the upper limbs using accelerometers. The system could discriminate drug-induced Parkinsonian tremor from the other tremor diseases. By using physical load, it will be possible to discriminate Parkinson's disease and essential tremor in those early stage.
