Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The electrooculogram is applied to clinical diagnosis as an electrophysiological examination of a retina or a functional test of the eye movements. The time curve of the electrooculogram is useful method for the diagnosis of the pigmentary retinal dystrophy and the vitelliform macular degeneration. This functional test cannot be applied to the patient with a visual loss or a visual field detect because of his inaccuracy of the fixation. By using the simultaneous measurement of the electrooculogram and the eye position, it is possibie to measure the time curves of electrooculogram generated by the free eye movements from such patient.
