Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents a new blind adaptive beamforming algorithm for ESPAR antennas. A unique criterion with an objective function based on the first- and second-order moments of received signal's amplitude is proposed. The formulation of the directivity and adaptive beamforming flow chart are described in detail. Computer simulation shows that the main beam is successfully directed to the desired signal and interference is simultaneously suppressed even in a channel with substantial additive Gaussian noise.
