Abstract(in English)	We organized a special session on microwave and millimeter-wave photonics (MWP) in this MW/OPE joint workshop. The special session is aimed for reviewing the recent MWP-related topics; photonic techniques for generating and probing microwaves and millimeter-waves. We would like to try to extract the technical essences of this interdisciplinary area where the microwave and photonic technologies fuse with each other.
