Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In microwave active devices, the nonlinear elements which are included diodes and transistors are very important properties. In analyzing of them, the time-domain method and the frequency-domain rnethod are used, and have advantages and disadvantages each other. In recent years, the steady state analysis of nonlinear microwave circuits with harmonic balance method, which has both time-domain and frequency-domain method, add to microwave circuit simulators. In this paper, the advantages and the disadvantages of time-domain method and frequency-method, and the consequence of analyzing frequency multiplier with schottky-barrier diode by harmonic balance method are described.
