Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Wireless energy supply is a key technology for the autonomous microrobot that moves through a metal pipe and does inner wall inspection and maintenance automatically. This paper proposes a microwave umsinission system consisting of a circular waveguide to coax adapter and a rectifier that supplies driving energy to a microrobot.First we realize an antenna of the microrobot whose optimal structure is determined by simulation.Experimental results show the conversion loss of the antenna accords with the simulation.Next,we introduce a method to remove unnecessary microwave reflection of the antenna. The proposed system drives the microrobot at 5.6mm, sec in the metal pipe that is 28mm in diameter.
