Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes an architecture of the integrated spectrum analyzer(SPA)front end, named "Band switch methode",and demonstrates an MMI chip set required in the novel architecture of 2-32GHz SPA front end.The band switch methode utilizes some bandpass filters optimized by the frequency range of the first local oscillator, instead of a large, heavy and expensive YIG tracking filter. The UMC chip set includes a foudamental & harmonic frequency converter,a variable attenuator, multiport switches,a distributed pre-amplifier and an active LC filter achieveing ultrawideband perfroamnce as well as the chip size reduction.
