Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have proposed a pilot symbol assisted modulation (PSAM) using fast Fourier transform (FFT). This method compensates accurately for flat fading that has both a small and large maximum Doppler frequency. However, it estimates fading without removing the influence of additive white Gaussian noise (AWGN) that is included in the received pilot symbols, and therefore the estimations have a regular error. In this report, we propose the improved PSAM method. This allows better bit error rate performance which we tested using computer simulations.
