Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In recent years, requirements of multi-function, light-weight and low-cost for a mobile communication system using the millimeter wave circuit technique become essential items. In order to satisfy these requests, a 20GHz band active integrated antenna was fabricated with the CPW-fed slot antenna on an alumina substrate and the MMIC oscillator on a GaAs substrate. The active integrated antenna operated at 23.730GHz, and the frequency tuning change of 84MHz was obtained with the change of the gate bias. Moreover, the fabricated 2-element active integrated antenna array using proximity mutual coupling operated at 23.867GHz. From obselvation, it is confirmed that these prototypes worked well.
