Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we discuss the approaches of the space-time adaptive processing (STAP), and propose its realization via subband signal processing, i. e., subband STAP (SSTAP). Some basic problems of STAP are first investigated which include the determination of the number of taps, convergence speed. We then propose the concept of SSTAP, and the numbere of taps, convergence speed of the SSTAP are analyzed and compared with the STAP. It is shown that, the proposed SSTAP scheme not only provides more flexibility in the design of STAP, but also brings great reduction of taps used at each subband and subsequently significantly improves the convergence speed.
