Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The microwave absorption properties of M-type hexagonal ferrite BaFe_<12-x> (Ti_0.5Mn_0.5)_xO_19 and its composite have been investigated. It was found that the complex permeability μ^'_r and μ^"_r induced by the ferrimagnetic resonance can be controlled both in frequency axis and in amplitude by changing the substitution amount x and the powder mixture ratio. The complex permeability of TiMn substituted ferrite composite was successfully adjusted to the calculated conditions for impedance matched adsorbers, and exhibited a wide absorption bandwidth Δf/f=47 % in the X-band. It is possible to design absorbers for an arbitrary frequency from a few GHz to 100 GHz using the same procedure.
