Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | In recent years, the Finite-Difference Time-Domain (FDTD) method is widely used for solving problems related to electromagnetism. As the traditional FDTD method uses an explicit type finite difference algorithm, Courant-Friedrich-Levy (CFL) condition must be satisfied when this method is used. In order to eliminate this restraint, We had proposed a new FDTD algorithm based on the alternating direction implicit method. We had named this new algorithm the ADI-FDTD method and had studied on two-dimensional problems. This paper presents the three-dimensional ADI-FDTD algorithm and calculated results of microstrip lines characteristics. |
