Reconstruction Algorithm of Diffraction Tomography from Intensity of Total Fields based on Optimization Procedure

Abstract(in English) A reconstruction algorithm for determining the refractive index of the scatterer from measurements of the intensity of total fields in the far-zone is presented.The algorithm is based on minimizing a functional of an object function by the conjugate gradient method.The simulated results for two-dimensional objects show that the reconstructed refractive index is in good agreement with the true profile.However,this method is less robust to noise contamination compared to our previous reconstruction algorithm for determining the refractive index from measurements of the amplitude and phase of the pattern function.
