Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Spatial optical processing approach is available to realize high speed and wide-band array antennas. We have studied a transmission antenna whose amplitude and phase distributions are provided by means of the above method. In this report, we propose a multibeam receiving antenna using the spatial optical processing in a beam-forming-network. As a key technology realizing the antenna, we experimentally investigate the basic performance of microwave-optical conversion process.
