Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For compact radio systems at higher frequency bands, the subharmonically pumped mixer using an anti-parallel diode pair is effective because it can reduce the number of multiplier-stages and can be used both as a down-converter and as an up-converter. In practical use, image rejection type configuration is desired. To achieve low conversion loss and high image rejection performances, the divider/combiner of an SSB mixer have to be extremely accurate in phase and amplitude. In this paper, inphase power divider is chosen as RF divider/combiner in the SSB subharmonically pumped mixer to realize low conversion loss. The mixer MMIC for a 20 GHz-band transceiver is designed and tested.
