Abstract(in English) | Even harmonic type direct conversion receiver (EH-DCR) has an advantage of suppressing the degradation of sensitivity caused by interferences that are LO noise and second order intermodulation. In this paper, we will indicate a relationship between required characteristics of mobile communication receiver and device performance of the EH-DCR, and then indicate the design condition of the even harmonic quadrature mixer in the EH-DCR. A developed 1.9GHz-band EH-DCR shows the performance of minimum receiving power of -101dBm, intermodulation characteristic of 49dB and selectivity to adjacent channel of 52dB. These results satisfy the requirements of mobile communication receivers. |
