Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, the demand for the mobile satellite communication is increasing, and many communication services are in the planing stage. Various types of vehicle antennas which can track the satellite have been studied. The authors have proposed the novel circularly polarized antenna fed by slot line. This paper describes a four-element array of this element which is connected to the phase shifter. This antenna covers whole azimuth direction by eight beams. In the whole azimuth direction a minimum gain is 7.5 dB at θ=30°, and a minimum gain is 6.2 dB at θ=46°.
