Side-coupled Strip-line microwave circuit : Eigen-mode Expansion and Foster-type Equivalent network representation

Abstract(in English) Side-coupled stripline circuit and its modified structure will be frequently utilized at microwave along with the advance of circuit integration. Hence, it is meaningful to establish the systematic method of analysis and synthesis in the unified and reasonable mannar for these circuit. Foster-type equivalent network representation method, which is known to be useful at microwave frequency, is again shown to be applicable to the side-coupled striplineline circuit in general. Practically, in this report, side-coupled stripline circuit equations with the line parameter relations and its decoupled form, calculation of eigen-modes for the parallel coupled stripline cascaded in the multi-stage, and derivation of Foster-type network are explained in detail.
