Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A novel expression is studied for adding terms of effects caused by transmission-line terminals to transmission-line equations. When the finite length line has vertical risers at line terminals to hold the line constant, currents at the risers generate fields except for TEM mode. The disturbance fields are taken account in forcing terms of the telegrapher's equation, so that a solution to the equation is obtained in terms of a chain matrix of two-port network. To verify the theory, experiments have been conducted: comparisons between the experimental and the computed results concerning an input voltage reflection and a transmission coefficients are in a good agreement.
