Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Function Point Analysis(FPA) has recently come into wide use in business application filed to measure software size. However, it is often said that FPA is not applicable to embedded/control software since measurement viewpoint of FPA is biased to data input/output. This paper points out problems and issues of existing FPA methods to be applicable to embedded/control software, and then proposes outlines of FSECS(Functional Sizing for Embedded/Control Software)which is the extention of DENKEN method FPA.
