Computer-Assisted Tree Construction in Questionnaire System

Abstract(in English) A questionnaire tree is constructed in a questionnaire system. The questionnaire tree has a lot of nodes in general. Therefore, it is difficult to construct the tree. The aim of this research is to assist the questionnaire tree construction by a computer. In order to realize the Computer-assisted tree construction, we propose that the node connection information is extracted by analyses of questionnaire tree nodes. We developed a system based the proposal, and applied the system to typical problems. We found that the computer-assisted questionnaire tree construction was performed successfully and effectively, and we also found that the tree constructed was suitable to a user's requirement.
