A Parsing Method for Multi-Dimensional Languages

Abstract(in English) This paper proposes grammars for multi-dimensional languages. The proposed grammars introduce relations into the constraint multiset grammars. Relations are the constraints on the relationships among symbols in multi-dimensional languages. The proposed giammars, which are called constraint relation multiset grammars, have the rerations as the first class citizens of the grammars because the relationships among symbols play an important role in multi-dimensional languages. A parser generator based on the proposed grammars has been constructed. Constraint relation multiset grammars are evaluated that they are easier to be written and understood than the other kinds of grammars for multi-dimensional languages.
