Abstract(in English) In this paper, we have developed a miniaturized image processing camera system with 1kHz frame rate, which includes image capture, processing and control output. This camera module is composed of 2D photo sensor(lkHz frame rate, 128 × 128 pixels, 256 analog levels) circuit. The camera has been minimized and integrated onto a 3cm × 4cm circuit board weighing 62.4grams. We have confirmed the miniaturized smart camera module is capable of image capture, feature extraction and real-time feedback control at 1000frame/sec. With it's advantage of compact size, light weight and high-speed processing capability, the camera can be applied to a wide range of applications such as three dimensional measurement, robot control, factory automation and vehicle vision system.
