Abstract(in English) | Bus which transfers data is one of important components in various LSIs. There are LSIs that bus power consumption is dominant. In this paper, we propose a low power technique considering characteristics of transfer data. Not all bus lines have effective data. We call active bits which are effective bus lines on a bus. We reduce unnecessary switching considering active bits on the bus. Experimental results demonstrate up to 53.3% power reduction of a 32bit data bus. |
