Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A pixel-level A-D conversion method suited for digital vision chips is proposed. In this method, both of photo-detector-reading timings and input reference voltages are controlled by software in order to improve the sensitivity and at the same time to suppress the noises. An algorithm to generate an optimal controlling schedule to realize an arbitrary A-D conversion scale is also proposed. Experimental results that verify the theoretical analysis are also presented.
