Abstract(in English) | In recent years, application-specific memories, referred as system memories, are intensively studied for the post-PC applications such as mobile phones and game machines. A variety of new functions, architectures and circuits are proposed for such memories since they have no global standard that is indispensable for commodity memories. This paper will focus on RAM technologies of the system memories and discuss recent developments in high-speed, low-power, refresh-free technologies and future perspectives. |
