Abstract(in English) In Japan, Digital terrestrial television broadcasting will be launched in the year 2003. Digital terrestrial broadcasting has adopted OFDM (Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) for modulation and multiplexing scheme. The feature of OFDM is stable reception in multipath environments surrounded by high buildings. We report on the first single-chip OFDM demodulator for the Japanese television broadcasting.
