Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a semi-synchronous multi-clock one-dimensional PE array for Motion Estimation. It can disperse the peak current and decrease the high-frequency noise to supply multiple clocks on PEs. The proposed PE array reduces the peak current at 100MHz to 36% of the conventional synchronous PE array, while increasing the area by 10%. The high-frequency noise of the proposed array at 100-800MHz becomes 10-20% of the conventional one.
