Abstract(in English) Since W-CDMA terminals can provide high-speed, high-quality communications, the internet and multimedia capabilities can easily be used. In order to materialize this W-CDMA terminal, Baseband signal processing must become more complicated and high speed is required. Also, from the necessity of high performance processor for multimedia process, and high-speed, high-density memory, it is important to reduce the power consumption of the LSI. To do so, LSI technology, the technology to design a low power consumption circuit, development of a high-speed low-power memory, power management devices, and a development in technology overall will be required.
