| Abstract(in English) | Wide-band CDMA technology, initially studied at Association of Radio Industry and Business (ARIB) in Japan, was proposed to ITU in June 1998 and then it was adopted as the basis for the 3GPP global standard. In order to acquire the new technology, participating in the W-CDMA field tests was regarded as a significant technical step for TI. A dedicated team was formed to develop the prototype system. This paper reports the prototype system and its successful test results. |
