Partial-Scrambling of Still Images Based on JPEG2000

Abstract(in English) Recently, the protection of digital image's copyright is a problem to be solved bacause digital images can be easily copied and transmitted via networks without any quality loss. There are some apptroaches for the protection of copyright-digital water marking, cryptography, and partial-scrambling and so on. There is JPEG based method in partial-scrambling, however, this conventional method has the problem of increasing in data amount of scrambled image. In this report, we propose a method of partial-scrambling of still images based on JPEG2000 standard. The proposed method can solve the problem which the conventional methods have. To verify the effectiveness, we demonstrate the scrambled image which generated using the proposed method.
