| 抄録(和) | 近年、FPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)などのプログラマブルデバイスを用いて、問題対応に機能を再定義可能な装置が開発されている。それらは、リコンフィギャラブルシステム(RS)と呼ばれる。RSは、専用装置に比べてコストパフォーマンスで優ることや、各アプリケーション領域に合致する新たな処理パラダイムを提案することを目的にしている。本稿では、まず、筆者等が開発した通信用FPGAを簡単に説明する。つぎに、それを用いて試作した幾つかの通信向けRSを、その応用例と共に示す。さらに、プログラマブルデバイスの現状および通信分野におけるRSへの可能性についても言及する。 |
| 抄録(英) | Many reconfigurable systems(RSs)utilizing programmable devices such as FPGAs(Field Programmable Gate Arrays)have been reported recently. The aim is to achieve high performance with low production cost, or to produce a new computation paradigm suitable to each application field. In this paper, a telecom-oriented FPGA and some RSs utilizing it, which were developed to realize flexible telecommunications systems, are introduced. Current status of the programmable devices and hot topics in telecommunications related to RSs are also surveyed. |
