| Abstract(in English) | The single-chip Audio and Video(AV)decoder LSI(NM677521)has been developed for both DVD-Audio and DVD-Video applications for the first time in the world. This LSI has three new features for DVD-Audio which are decoding super high quality audio 192 kHz/24bit/2ch Linear PCM, decoding multi-channel audio 96 kHz/24bit/6ch Packed PCM, and presenting Still Pictures with audio. This LSI also supports the features for DVD-Video audio and video streams. This LSI has been used in Universal DVD Player and DVD Car Navigation System for both DVD-Audio and DVD-Video applications produced by our company for the first time in the world. |
