Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To realize reliable communication network, a troubled route could be switched to alternative route that is the multiple route networks. But topologies of the IEEE1394 restrict tree topology, because IEEE1394 node can't transfer data under multiple route topology witch contain loop. A method that form physically loops topology under the condition of logically tree topology was proposed and applied to the IEEE1394 reliable network. The port disable function of P1394a is implemented to a node to connect loop. The restoration time was experimentally obtained around 1.4ms for a network including 3 loops. A method of faster restoration time is mentioned for the network including multiple loops. This method could be applied to the backbone network for office, school, home and so on.
