Power Supply Circuit for Adiabatic Dynamic CMOS Circuits

Abstract(in English) In this paper, a power supply circuit for adiabatic dynamic logic circuits is proposed. Adiabatic dynamic logic circuits promise us to implement low power logic circuits. The circuits require a time variable voltage supply, which generates a sine waveform or triangle one. However, until now, any supply circuits for such circuits have not been proposed. The power supply circuit proposed in this paper can generate a pseudo triangle waveform, which consists of capacitors, MOS transistors and constant voltage sources. In order to evaluate the power supply circuit, adiabatic dynamic inverter gates are driven by the circnit. The empirical results show that the gates can work and less power consumption of the gates can be obtained than conventional CMOS gates.
