Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) A newly developed GaAs monolithic microwave frequency divider is presented. It offers very low power comsumption, 1.2 V × 5 mA. Divide-by-three frequency division is carried out with the RF input level of 0 dBm in the frequency range from 4.8 GHz to 6.4 GHz. The circuit measures only about 0.5 mm × 0.9 mm. Thanks to this small size and low power, it will contribute to the realization of shirt-pocket-size multimedia wireless access terminals.
