Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) An intrinsic property of a tapped resonator is elucidated here. We, furthermore, propose a bandpass filter(BPF)based on a half-wavelength resonator with both I/O and interstage tap coupling. The BPF is designed by use of the general filter theory with a narrow band approximation. An experiment is carried out to confirm the concept by using a coplanar structure. The expected bandpass characteristics with multiple attenuation poles have been designed by the novel BPF based on the present concept.
