Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We have developed distributed analog IC's for 40-Gbit/s Optical transmission. A key feature of the IC design is the synthesis of conventional lumped circuit and distributed circuit design techniques. Distributed amplifying configuration is adopted to baseband amplifier, distributor, levelshift circuit and SCFL level transformer. All IC's fabricated using 0.2-μm-gate-length GaAs MESFET have a bandwidth of over 40 GHz.
