Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper presents mixed-signal designs on FPGAs and Field Programmable Analog Arrays (FPAAs). FPAA, which utilizes the switched capacitor technology, is able to reconfigure analog function by programming the on-chip SRAM in the same manner as the SRAM-based FPGA. FPAA will offer a wide variety of applications from the viewpoints of product, prototyping, and education. Moreover, use of FPAAs with FPGAs allows the user to easily implement mixed-signal designs. This paper describes results of our investigation on merging these two types of programmable device. Experimental results show mixed-signal designs using originally prepared evaluation boards can be operated identical by with the simulation model (in Spectre and Verilog HDL) and the model of general-purpose analog ICs
