Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The development of increasingly personal equipment requires LSIs with low power consumption to ensure a long battery life and to minimize. We discuss the trends and problems of analog circuits from the view point of the LSI technology trend. We predict that the supply voltage of analog circuits will be lowered to the same as that of digital circuits, and we also predict problems such as increase in the leakage current and decrease in the S/N ratio. We also demonstrated by fabricating 1-V A/D and D/A converters that it is possible to make low-voltage analog circuits that perform well.
