| Abstract(in English) | This paper describes a hardware/software co-operation method and a hardware/software codesign compiler for a general purpose coprocessor GPCP-SS. The compiler converts a C program to hardware modules and software modules. At first, all functions are converted to hardware modules, and the execution time and the amount of the hardware are estimated. In the hardware module generation, the number of bits of variables are minimized, and parallelism in the operations are extracted. |
