Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We developed a computationally-efficient circuit simulator using macromodel. In this model, a whole circuit is partitioned into subcircuits which can be expressed using ordinary differential equations(ODEs), and can be solved analytically. The ODEs are constructed considering all the elementes in the cdmpact model for MOSFET's in the subcircuits. The method with macromodel can simulate circuits several times faster than conventional method to obtain dame accuracy. The advantage is enhanced with increasing circuit size.
