Abstract(in English) In analog and digital mixed-signal integrated circuits, cross-talk noise is an important problem to solve. We designed and fabricated a 0.6μm CMOS test chip which detects substrate noise from CMOS inverter arrays by using a differencial amplifier. Differencial circuit techniques supress parastic effects and enable to measure substrate noise with 15dB gain for frequencies below 100MHz. By evaluating measured substrate noise, we found that noise waveform consists of two components, a principal part of noise and a ringing, and that noise generated by transient current on GND line's resistance dominates detected substrate noise.
