Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Organic light emitting diodes (OLED) are attractive because of their advantages for an emission in wide visible region and for an application to flat-panel display driven at low voltage. The advantage of low-temperature process has enable for OLED to fabricated on a plastic substrate for a light source of optical waveguide. Under these circumstances, red emitting devices has been fabricated and their characteristics have been studied for the light source of optical circuits. In this report, electrical and optical integrated circuit with polymer waveguide devices has been discussed.
