Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The dissolution of GaSb into InSb melt was investigated under μg and 1g conditions. GaSb (111) A/InSb/GaSb (111) B combination was settled in a cylindarical BN tube and sealed in a quartz tube. After the heating and cooling processes, samples were analyzed by EPMA. The obtained results are; (1) the dissolved area of InGaSb broadened toward gravitational direction in the 1g-processed sample and a larger dissolution of GaSb took place as Ga moved upwards in the In-Ga-Sb solution due to buoyancy, (2) the dissolution area was almost parallel under microgravity, because the solute was tranported by diffusion.
