Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | For the 3rd Genaration (IMT-2000) cellular terminals, baseband signal processing becomes more complicated and larger memories will be required, in order to higher speed and hihger volume data communication. So it is important to reduce power consumption of baseband signal processing LSIs (especially, demodulation signal processing). One of key issues is development of a highly sophisticated power management devices as well as highly efficient batteries. Product planning in the 3rd Generatiion cellular terminals will depend on the trade-off between baseband LSI's power consumption and functionality of the terminals. |
