Abstract(in English) We previously proposed a method ofMachine Translation Using Inductive Learning with Genetic Algorithms(GA-ILMT). In GA-ILMT, translation rules are automatically acquired from given translation examples. Therefore, the ability is required to acquire the translation rules for which the English and Japanese correspond. However, in GA-ILMT, the ability that acquires many effective translation rules is not enough. In this paper, we describe GA-ILMT2 which recursively acquires many effective translation rules by focusing on the local parts.
