Abstract(in English) | We developed a text integrated mining system for analysis of "best practice" cases and "missed opportunity" cases from salesperson's daily reports to support sales manager's decision making. Our method has two features: (i)Key concepts are extracted from a set texts, where the concepts are classified into two groups: a cause and an effect. For example, the cause group contains subgroups such as "sales promotion" and "price", and the effect group contains subgroups such as "estimation" and "sale". (ii)Cause-and-effect structures are extracted by means of combinations of the concepts in the cause group and those in the effect group. For example, relationship between sales promotion for a product and its sale is extracted. We show the practical usefulness of our system by applying it to the analysis of real salesperson's daily reports. |
