Role of Text Structure for Automated Summarization : Clues for Sentence Combination

Abstract(in English) To investigate the relationship between text structure and its summary, we examine human-generated summaries. We prepare manually analyzed coherence structure of each source text of the summaries. From manual analysis on alignment between sentences in a source text and those in the summary, some roles of text structure in summary generation are suggested.
